We operate the Stubbington Ark Animal Shelter, the Stubbington Ark Charity Shop in Fareham, as well as the Veterinary Clinic and Swaythling Centre in Southampton.

The Stubbington Ark is the focus for local animal welfare services covering 400 sq.miles including the Portsmouth and Southampton area. It provides shelter for all manner of animals, domestic, wildlife, farm stock and exotics and there are usually more than 500 animals on site at any one time. As you can imagine our running costs are extremely high and we have to raise over £3,400 per day to keep the shelter running.

We are an independent, self funding charity that receives NO Government or Lottery funding. Less then 3% of our £1.4 million a year running costs comes from the RSPCA.

To keep the Ark afloat we rely on donations and the generosity of our supporters and the business community.

ADOPT AN ANIMAL OUR ANIMALS NEED PLEASE SUPPORT US

Adopt a Cat

We have a large number of cats in our cattery that are over 10 years old and sadly many of them get overlooked. Our usual adoption fee for a cat is £50.00 but for a limited time you can adopt an older cat from us for a donation only! Our older cats come in all sizes and colours - so please consider them if you are thinking of adopting.
