There are always dozens of cats in the shelter looking for a home, so it would be impossible to show them all. Below are some of our cats. Please do come and visit the shelter to meet more. If you do not find a suitable cat straight away, do keep coming back, as there are more cats up for homing every week.

Other information Jack is a real character who unfortunately hasn't had the best start to life. He was born in a conservatory and had little human contact as a kitten so is consequently quite wary, however, since being here his confidence has grown and he loves being around people and is a very cheeky chappie! He is still quite wary of hands though and is looking for a calm, patient owner who will continue to build his trust.

Other information Ashley was such a nervous chap when he arrived and it took him a good 3-4 months to settle and start to trust us. He is doing so well now and loves human company and having lots of fuss and attention. His confidence has grown so much that he now  feels comfortable enough to play with us and loves to chase after toys or having a food puzzle to solve! Ashley is looking for an experienced new family as he will need them to continue to build his confidence, especially whilst he settles into his new home.

Other information Sunny and Little Boy are a beautiful pair of cats. Little Boy is the most confident and inquisitive, he does enjoy a fuss but is quite independent and loves to explore the catttery and do his own thing. Sunny is shy to begin with but once you've gained his trust he is a real sweetie and loves fuss and attention and will sit on your lap. Both of them are very playful and love their food!

Other animals This handsome trio are looking for a home together as they very much rely on each other. Mr T is the confident on of the 3 and is always the first to explore new places and say hello to new people. Loki and Snoopy are much more shy and reserved but quickly follow after Mr t as curiosity gets the better of them! All 3 boys love fuss and a lap to sit on, Loki and Snoopy can be a little wary at first but soon begin to trust you if you offer them a tasty treat.

Ruffles is very confident and will come to you straight away for fuss and attention, she loves to be groomed and will purr loudly. Clive is more wary initially and it takes him a while to trust you, but once he does he's just as loving and affectionate. Ruffles and Clive will need a quiet, calm home where they can settle at their own pace.

She may need a little encouragement, but once she trusts you she is a gentle calm cat who enjoys fuss and attention. Loud noises and sudden movements do scare her at the moment so she is looking for a quiet calm home where she can settle in her own time.

Marlene is more nervous so it takes her a little longer to find the confidence, but she also really enjoys a fuss being made of her once she trusts you, especially if she knows you have food!
