Shop with us
Whether you are looking for a chic
accessory for your favourite outfit, furnishings to change the look
of your room or the ideal book to wallow away the hours, browsing
in our charity shop is a super shopping experience you cannot
afford to miss.
You will find a range of brand new
and carefully selected donated goods at recession beating prices
from the wide range of items that are in our shop every week.
We rely on the community to supply us
with good quality stock. So if the de-clutter bug has got
hold of you or you are moving house, please donate to our shop the
unwanted clothes, DVD's, ornaments and books etc that you no longer
need.
Don't
worry if you cannot deliver the items to the shop yourself.
Just give the shop a call and one of our friendly volunteer
drivers will call round to collect.
We also take small items of furniture
and small electrical items too. Sorry we cannot take computer
monitors or 'deep' televisions, only slim flatscreen TV's. We
can no longer take Videotapes.
If you can manage to deliver the
items yourself, then deliveries can be made in at the rear of the
shop in Malthouse Lane.
Our shop raises funds towards the
vital services RSPCA Solent Branch need to care and treat the
thousands of animals that cross our threshold.
The Ark
Furniture Store
For larger items of furniture and
specialised house clearances, you can contact Steve Churcher at the
Ark Furniture Store, 128 Albert Road, Southsea, Portsmouth, PO4
0JS. Telephone 023 9287 0611 or email rspcaark@googlemail.com The
Ark Furniture Store donates a percentage of its proceeds to RSPCA
Solent Branch every year.
Volunteers
Can you spare some time to help in
our shop? We are always looking for pairs of willing hands to
help collect donated goods, man the till, sort goods and steam
clean garments. Please click here to download a
charity shop volunteer application form. Your name will be
kept on a list, if certain vacancies are full.
