Please DO NOT just turn up at the shelter. We are still accepting towels, blankets, food and treats, these can be left outside reception. We don't accept pillows or duvets. If you have animal welfare concerns, please call our national cruelty line for advice: 0300 1234 999, during the hours of 7am and 10pm, 7 days per week. If you have a badly injured stray or wild animal please call your local vet for advice. Please do not attend a vet practice without calling first. This is an incredibly difficult time for us across the RSPCA and we appreciate your ongoing support The RSPCA Solent Branch or The Stubbington Ark as we are more commonly known is the focus for local animal welfare services covering 400 sq.miles including the Portsmouth and Southampton area. The Stubbington Ark provides care, rehabilitation and rehoming for all manner of animals, domestic, wildlife, farm stock and exotics and there are usually more than 250 animals on site at any one time. The Stubbington Ark is a separately registered branch which comes under the umbrella of the RSPCA. We are completely self-funded, being primarily responsible for raising funds locally. We operate autonomously from the central charity, whilst still following national guidelines.
