Leaving a
Legacy

A Legacy to the RSPC Solent Branch
will provide crucial funds. We could not carry out our work
without such generous support.
You can do this by making a Will or
Bequest or by adding a codicil (a document which specifies
alterations to your Will). If you are making a Will, please
remember that the RSPCA Solent Branch and all the other RSPCA
branches are separate registered charities.
So
if you would like the animals in your local area to benefit, we
suggest your Legacy reads:
I give the sum of £......(or
specify a share of residue) to the RSPCA Solent Branch
Registered Charity Number 205096, 174-176 Ranvilles Lane, Fareham,
Hampshire PO14 3EZ
for its general purposes and I declare that the receipt of the
Honorary Treasurer or other proper
officer of the said RSPCA for the time being shall be a full and
sufficient discharge for the said Legacy
Please note that a Will or Codicil
needs to be properly witnessed and you should obtain legal
advice.
Gifts to registered charities are
generally excempt from inheritance and capital gains taxes. A
gift to the RSPCA Solent Branch would make a huge difference to the
lives of the many animals that enter the Shelter.
Home for
Life

If you have pets and want to ensure
they are cared for after your death, you can bequeath your animals
to the Stubbington Ark Animal Shelter in your will. The RSPCA
Home for Life welfare initiative guarantees to take care of and
re-home your pets. To find out more about Home for Life,
