About Us:
Moved to Stubbington, Fareham in 1987. Open 7 days a week
– 10am-4pm. Although we are part of the RSPCA, we receive no
funding from them and we are totally self-funded. We provide
shelter for all manner of domestic animals, wildlife and exotics
within an area covering
400 miles. We have more than 500 animals on site at any one time.
RSPCA Solent Branch also runs a Veterinary Clinic in Southampton,
providing subsidised veterinary treatments for pets whose owners
are on reduced incomes. The Stubbington Ark has to raise just over
£3,000 per day to account for vet bills, food, heating, maintenance
of our 8 acre site, cleaning supplies and staff wages which are
just a
few of the expenses that we can only pay through the generosity of
the general public. |
